Change Residence and Allow Frequent Departures

Permits for frequent departures to facilitate the travel and traffic of Iranians residing abroad are issued only by the embassies of the Islamic Republic of Iran abroad.

Non-resident Iranians with a valid residence permit can change their place of residence and obtain permission to leave the country frequently.

Iranians serving in the conscription system, in accordance with the notification of the General Staff of the Armed Forces dated 01/01/2013 All absentees residing abroad who have resided abroad for at least three years may change their place of residence up to two times at most. According to the Third Development Budget Reform Act, Iranians living abroad must also pay duty exits when leaving. This can be paid in advance at one of the branches of national banks in Iran or at the outlet border.

Holders of a permanent exit permit staying in Iran for up to one year may, after obtaining a residence permit in the United Kingdom and being permitted to exit the Department of Passport and Visa Department of Iran once and submit it to the Law Enforcement and Passport Administration Leave the country.

According to Article 1005 of the Civil Code, the residence of the wife is the residence of the husband.
